  Dampierre Grande Cuvée Champagne - Comte Audoin de Dampierre is an excellent Champagne house that is popular in France and the French prefer not to export. It has been served in 42 embassies and numerous prestigious establishments throughout the world. Dampierre champagnes are made only from selected Premier cru and Grand cru vineyards, and as such they are renowned as nectars with a fine, long-lasting mouse. The Grande Cuvée consists of dominantly Chardonnay, and as such is very fruity and expressive. It has aged for 2 years on lees to allow it to reach full maturity. Sommelier's opinion An expressive style with fruity patisserie nose and a light touch of biscuit and smoky notes. Refined texture and pleasant mellowness.
